Dentistry works best as a prevention system, where a dental team provides your care from start to finish. Dental treatment is never going to be less invasive or expensive than when it is first diagnosed. Decay starts in the enamel and underlying dentin where there are no nerves for you to "feel" something is wrong. When treatment is delayed due to financial or time constraints (not able to take off work for example) the active disease that is present only gets worse. Decay gets larger potentially leading to needing additional procedures to restore the tooth. Often additional procedures can lead to additional appointments and missing more work than if the problem was addressed at its earlier stage. Not to mention the possibility of pain.
For this reason, we offer many payment options to help remove barriers to services that could prevent you or a family member from receiving necessary dental treatment as well as elective the cosmetic dentistry you desire. During your exams we will discuss fully what is occurring in your mouth and together we can determine treatment options that can fit into your budget and your lifestyle that guides you on a path that will affect your oral health over your lifespan.
Springwoods Village Dental fees are based on the quality materials we use and the time, effort and skill required in performing your needed treatment. We charge what is the usual and customary for our area.

payment options

We accept cash, checks, debit and most major credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express). We also accept Flex Cards, Flex Spending monies, HSA Cards, and HSA monies. Additionally, we offer flexible financing options (see below) because we understand that monthly payments can help patients fit the costs of dental treatment into their budgets. We offer a 5% discount for any treatment paid with cash and for a pre-payment of future appointments.

flexible financing options

Care Credit

We offer financing through CareCredit® for those who qualify. With CareCredit, you can finance 100% of your dental treatment with no upfront costs, no pre-payment penalties, and no annual fees. CareCredit allows for revolving payments with a variable interest rate and up to 12 months of 0% interest!

The Lending Club

We also offer interest free financing through the Lending Club which is like Care Credit. Our knowledgeable staff can assist you in determining which one is best for you.

Dental Insurance

Our staff is pleased that you have insurance benefits to help with the cost of your dental care. We would like to help you obtain the maximum use of your benefits. If you have a PPO or better insurance you can use your benefits at our office (DMO/HMO and medicaid would not qualify). We are unrestricted so your insurance will reimburse us more for our services. This allows us to invest in better quality materials, techniques, laboratories and advanced technologies. Most of the PPO plans cover 100% of preventative services including the exam, cleaning, and radiographs at our office (even if Springwoods Village Dental does not come up when you search your your insurance companies preferred provider list). We understand that talking to your insurance company can get confusing and are here to help. We have a combined total of 32 years of experience dealing with insurance companies and can offer our assistance.
During your first appointment (which is usually covered at 100%) we do complementary benefits check for you to assist in your understanding of what they cover. While we are able to estimate your benefits based on the information provided to us by your insurance carrier, your insurance makes the final determination of payment. Please be aware that only when the claims are processed will the breakdown be accurate on the Explanation of Benefits.
As a courtesy to you, we file all claim forms electronically, accept assignment of benefits from your insurance company, provide postage for special claims, and track claims for you.
If insurance does not pay within 60 days, then Dr. Clark reserves the right to request payment in full for services from you and lets you collect the insurance funds that are due to you. While this rarely happens, it is important that you recognize that the insurance you have is a legal contract between you, your insurance company and your employer.
Springwoods Village Dental values integrity. We will diagnose what is in the best interest of the patient, not what insurance covers. Your insurance company is a business and they do not always cover what is in your best interest.
Dental benefit plans are not designed to cover all dental procedures. Plans usually cover some, but not all, of your dental costs and needs. Many plans involve a contract between your employer and a dental plan provider, but you can also buy individual plans on your own or through the Health Insurance Marketplaces.
Read this ADA brochure to learn more about this and other topics such as deductible's, coinsurance, and more.
